Berry Compote

A delicious recipe from our nutritional support collection to help you on your weight loss journey.

Ingredients

  • ½ x Lemon Zest & Juice
  • 2 x Mint Leaves
  • Pinch salt

Method

  1. Prepare your berries by removing any leaves or stalks.
  2. Add everything to a pan and cook over a medium heat until softened.
  3. You can enjoy this warm or chill it down and use almost like a jam.
  4. I just used strawberries but you could use raspberries too.
  5. To take this one step further you could blend the compote and pass it through a sieve which would then be a coulis, this would be great to flavour up sparkling water or add an extra dimension to desserts.
